Sometimes, it’s the little things that make the biggest difference—like being able to step into your shower with ease, or finally saying goodbye to that old tub that’s been more hassle than help. That’s exactly what we set out to do in this latest project: take an outdated bathroom and turn it into a space that’s safer, sleeker, and way more enjoyable to use every day.
Our journey started with the demo. Out went the tub, the glass, the old valve, and the worn-out surround. We made sure to use our HEPA dust collection system during removal so that the rest of the home stayed as clean and undisturbed as possible—no one wants their whole house turning into a construction zone!
From there, it was all about building something better.
We prepped the walls with moisture-resistant greenboard, added sturdy backing to support future grab bars, and laid down a beautiful white composite stone shower pan. It’s slip-resistant, barrier-free, and perfectly sized at 36″ x 60″ to give our client extra room without sacrificing accessibility.
For the surround, we went with an upgraded travertine look—earthy, elegant, and full of texture. We sealed every joint and seam with precision, creating a polished, waterproof finish that’ll last for years.
Safety and style go hand-in-hand here. A brushed nickel ADA-compliant grab bar was added for extra support, and we installed a teak floating shower seat that folds up neatly when not in use. Bonus: we included it at no extra charge, because comfort shouldn’t come with a catch.
The new brushed nickel shower system includes a handheld wand and a fresh shower head, giving the homeowner options and flexibility during use—perfect for rinsing, relaxing, or even helping a loved one.
And let’s not forget that finishing touch: a sleek sliding glass shower door with a brushed nickel frame. One panel slides open, the other stays fixed—it’s simple, stylish, and so much easier to navigate than a clunky old curtain or awkward tub wall.
This remodel is a shining example of how thoughtful design and practical upgrades can truly change the way someone experiences their home. It’s now safer, smarter, and seriously more beautiful.
