A three-wall acrylic surround in a warm sandbar tone with a diamond tile pattern brought a modern, spa-like feel to the space. The joints and seams were carefully sealed, and thoughtful details like a collapsible foam threshold and a curtain clip were added to help retain water within the shower area—practical touches that make a big difference in daily use.
To support mobility and comfort, a teak folding shower seat was installed, securely anchored with reinforced backing. A curved brushed nickel shower curtain rod paired with a weighted curtain added a soft, inviting finish while maximizing space inside the shower.
For added functionality, a brushed nickel slide bar was installed to hold the handheld shower wand—making it easy to adjust height and position as needed. A corner shelf in matching brushed nickel provided a convenient spot for toiletries, keeping everything tidy and accessible.
A sleek, single-handle valve and dual showerhead setup—one fixed and one handheld—completed the upgrade, offering flexibility and ease of use.
Safety remained a top priority throughout the project. A sturdy 24″ grab bar was installed inside the shower, mounted with an ADA-compliant system and supported by hidden wall reinforcements. The look? Clean, elegant, and seamlessly integrated into the overall design.
To tie everything together, tile baseboards were added to the bathroom and adjacent hall—supplied by the homeowner and finished with grout to match the existing floor. This small detail helped blend the old with the new, adding a cohesive, polished touch to the finished space.
With all materials pre-ordered and staged before work began, installation took just a few days, minimizing disruption to the homeowner’s routine. The result? A bathroom that not only looks fantastic but also supports comfort, independence, and peace of mind for years to come.
