Some bathroom renovations go beyond surface upgrades—they transform how the space works and feels every single day. That was the goal for this project: to create a bathroom that was not only updated and stylish, but also safe, functional, and thoughtfully designed for comfort.
We began with a full demolition of the existing shower surround, floor tile, valve, and baseboards, carefully removing and hauling away all debris. To ensure the cleanliness of the rest of the home during the process, we used a HEPA dust collection system, minimizing dust and disruption.
Once the space was cleared, we installed a sleek, 32-inch cultured marble shower pan in crisp white. Its slip-resistant and barrier-free design allows for easy, safe access—perfect for anyone looking to age in place or simply enjoy more comfort. The walls were prepped with moisture-resistant greenboard and finished with a three-wall acrylic surround in a sophisticated grey subway pattern. All seams and joints were expertly sealed for long-lasting protection.
We then installed a Moen Adler chrome Posi-Temp valve, keeping the homeowner’s existing shower head in place. For added safety and accessibility, we included a 24-inch chrome Moen grab bar with an ADA-compliant mounting system, along with a floating acrylic shower seat to provide comfort without sacrificing space. A custom 12×24 acrylic shampoo niche was inset into the surround, giving the shower a clean, organized look.
To complete the enclosure, we installed a dual-sliding clear glass shower door from Dreamline, finished in polished chrome for a sleek, modern touch. The result is a walk-in shower that feels open, inviting, and highly functional.
Beyond the shower, we enhanced the rest of the bathroom with practical and stylish upgrades. A new vanity area was created by relocating plumbing, installing new angle stops and feed lines, and placing a beautiful 30” Achille blue vanity from Mayfair. Above the vanity, we inset a Kohler medicine cabinet for easy-access storage, and insulated behind the wall to improve temperature comfort.
To match the updated grey shower surround, we installed luxury vinyl plank flooring across the space, accented with brand new baseboards for a seamless finish. In the dry-off area, three crisp white shelves were installed above the toilet, along with a chrome towel shelf, towel bar, and towel rings—all chosen to blend perfectly with the polished chrome fixtures throughout the space.
We also added a new ADA-height toilet featuring dual flush and a soft-close lid, along with a Moen Liso chrome faucet with pop-up drain for the vanity. Every detail, from plumbing to accessories, was installed with care and precision.
Behind the scenes, we framed and blocked for future upgrades, strapped the shower head line to prevent rattling, and centered and framed a niche on the back wall for symmetry and functionality. Grab bars were installed on the back and right side walls for safety, while backing was added on the left in case a future grab bar is desired.
This remodel transformed a basic bathroom into a safe, stylish, and accessible space that’s built to last—and built for the people who live in it. Whether you’re looking to upgrade your home for comfort, function, or peace of mind, we’re here to bring your vision to life.
