Assisting Hands Home Care – North Phoenix provides compassionate, personalized in-home care for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Their trained caregivers offer support with daily activities, medication reminders, meal prep, companionship, and more—promoting dignity, independence, and an improved quality of life.

My22Veterans

My22Veterans is a dedicated organization committed to restoring dignity and well-being to veterans, helping them regain a sense of purpose through proactive individual connections, basic needs support, community mobilization and non-clinical alternative therapies.

U.S.VETS

U.S.VETS is the largest nonprofit focused on ending veteran homelessness, offering housing, mental health support, and career programs. With 45 locations, it helps over 3,000 veterans daily and supports their transition to civilian life.

Veterans Affinity is dedicated to veterans caring for veterans, providing essential resources to those in need. Their mission is to ensure every veteran receives the care and benefits they’ve earned, partnering with the community to prevent any veteran from being forgotten or left behind.

The Area Agency On Aging

The Area Agency on Aging, Region One supports older adults and caregivers in Maricopa County. As a nonprofit, it provides programs for adults 60 and older, caregivers, and younger adults with disabilities. The agency also assists elder refugees and individuals facing mental health challenges.

Senior Helpers

Senior Helpers offers exceptional care for older adults, helping families navigate the complexities of senior care. By creating personalized care plans with innovative tools and family input, they ensure seniors receive the support they need to improve their quality of life and age comfortably at home. Sons of Arizona

Sons of Arizona, founded in 2011 by locals from Scottsdale and Phoenix, is a group dedicated to helping children and families in Arizona. They provide money, supplies, and support to kids, schools, and charities that need extra help. Through events, partnerships, and donations, they work to uplift young people and support families in the community.

FSL

As the number of older adults in the U.S. continues to grow, many wish to remain in their homes and communities rather than transitioning to assisted living. Arizona Coalition for Military Families

Since 2009, ACMF has been a national leader in advocating for veterans and military families, bringing together Arizona’s public and private sectors. Their mission is to strengthen Arizona’s capacity to care for veterans, with a network that includes government agencies, businesses, healthcare providers and nonprofit partners.

Purple Heart Homes

Founded in 2008 by combat-wounded veterans John Gallina and Dale Beatty, Purple Heart Homes provides barrier-free housing solutions for veterans. Their mission is to offer safe, functional homes tailored to the unique needs of aging veterans, honoring their sacrifice and dedication.

Wreaths Across America

Wreaths Across America is dedicated to remembering the fallen, honoring those who serve and teaching the value of freedom. Beginning in 1992 with 5,000 wreaths at Arlington National Cemetery, it has grown to over 4,200 locations with 3 million volunteers. Each year on National Wreaths Across America Day, volunteers place wreaths on the graves of fallen service members to honor their sacrifices and preserve their memories.
